Self-Starting Genealogy Years ago, I started out interested and wondering about my family history. The topic of family history has been taboo within recent years people laying claim to family backgrounds yet a devoted genealogist overlooks. Most people felt that genealogy was something to look for popularity related to famous people. To be honest that was not me and not my goal.
